2004-01-21, THE FRASER GROUP - The famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will serve as host to the 13th annual THE REEL AWARDS on February 24,2004, bringing together the World`s top impressionists and tribute acts. Interview opportunities are currently available.Hollywood, CA (ORWEB) January 22 2004-- The famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, site of the first Academy Awards ceremonies in 1929, returns to host the 13th annual THE REEL AWARDS featuring the World’s top impersonators and celebrity “look-alikes” in a memorable evening of music, comedy and dance. This one-of-a-kind tribute and awards show will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 with the trip down the red carpet beginning at 6:00 P.M. Conceived in 1989 by pioneers in the industry of celebrity impersonators, Janna Joos of International Celebrity Images and Alana Joos of Entertainment Express, THE REEL AWARDS recognizes the talents and achievements of outstanding individuals or groups who perform in the field of impersonation in a unique awards show production. THE REEL AWARDS is the nation`s largest gathering of performers from the multi-million dollar a year celebrity impersonation and “look-alike” industry. “THE REEL AWARDS is our industry`s salute to the hard work and talent necessary to succeed as a tribute artist,” says Janna Joos, founder and Producer of the long running event. “The skill of the performers is truly amazing and audiences quickly forget they are watching a tribute artist.” Adds co-founder and Director of this years production Alana Joos, “If you didn`t get a ticket to the Oscars then this event is for you.
